Slan - Untitled Game Jam

Slan is a PS1-inspired RPG game, drawing inspiration from titles such as King's Field, Baroque, and Daggerfall. Immerse yourself in a retro fantasy world where what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. In Slan, you gain energy by killing monsters, but your only way to level up is to die and reincarnate. Collect weapons and grow stronger to uncover the mysteries of the world of Slan.

This game was developed in one week for the untitled Game Jam 89. It is currently a prototype as I did not have the time to develop the full game as I intended due to time constraints. I will finish the full game after the Jam, but in the meantime, you may encounter bugs, unfinished areas or placeholders, and most importantly: the game currently has no goal. I would love to add a story and a direction to it, but for now you can simply explore freely some areas of the vast forest of the world of Slan.

I also used some royalty-free 3D elements made available by artists. These will obviously be credited in this description as well as in the game once it is finished.
